Simak tips merawat baut roda agar kendaraan tetap aman.<\/h2>\n<p>Salah satu hal kecil yang bisa dilakukan dalam mempercantik roda adalah mengganti lug nut alias baut roda. Baut roda bawaan pabrik yang monoton bisa diganti dengan baut roda aftermatket. Versi aftermarket biasanya punya tampilan menarik dengan warna cerah atau finishing eksotik. Namun jangan tertipu penampilannya, karena baut roda aftermarket kualitasnya belum tentu sebaik bawaan mobil standar.<\/p>\n<p>Selain itu juga mesti memperhatikan lekukan dan ukuran baut. Untuk mobil Jepang, kebanyakan mur roda memakai ukuran 1,2 milimeter dengan ulir 1,5 milimeter. Untuk ukuran 14 milimeter, biasanya dipakai mobil besar seperti Range Rover. Mobil Jepang dan Eropa menggunakan teknik berbeda untuk mengikat roda. Beberapa mur roda standar dari pabrikan Jepang punya semacam \u2018payung\u2019 pada badannya. \u2018Payung\u2019 ini berfungsi agar mur bisa duduk presisi di konus velg yang rata. Beberapa velg standar pabrikan punya konus velg yang rata, seperti di Honda atau Toyota.<\/p>\n<p>Sedangkan konus baut pada velg aftermarket biasanya berbentuk cekungan mendalam. Jika mur roda berpayung diterapkan pada konus velg cekung, tentu mur roda tidak bisa mengikat sempurna. Duralium adalah bahan yang jamak dipakai untuk mur aftermarket. Yang menggunakan material ini, bermerek Work atau Rays, dengan harga kisaran Rp 2 jutaan. Ada juga yang berbahan aluminium balbed, seperti mur roda merek Project Miu. Untuk material ini lebih murah kisaran harganya, sekitar Rp 400 ribuan.<\/p>\n<p>Untuk perawatannya, mur roda aftermarket tidak banyak memerlukan perlakuan khusus. Kecuali jika mur menggunakan material dari besi, air menjadikannya mudah berkarat.
